The Links Golf Academy’s Green level camps are designed to get the young golfer on the course and act as a sort of playing lesson...instructors are able to see  where kids are having problems with shot selection, choice, exection, and/or simply fundamental errors.  It's a great alternative or enhancement to costly private lessons. We offer several Green level camps throughout the summer.  Camps meet daily for three (3) days (Mon-Wed) from 1-4:30. Each day, campers start by playing 9-holes of golf, then it’s off to the range for ball-striking and short-game instruction. Here, pre-teens to high school aged campers alike receive an advanced level of instruction as to swing plane, ball flight laws, pre-shot routines, shot shaping, high percentage shots, and course management...Because better understanding leads to better performance. Green level camps are a great option for parents with kids looking to play golf in high school and beyond. Each session is limited to 8 students, which allows the kids to pick not only who’s in their class, but, when they’ll attend. Since class sizes are limited, it’s easier for the instructor to customize each campers curriculum. The dedication of one instructor per class assures the highest possible level of communication and retention. Campers receive their own reference book. Inside are personalized tips, keys, swing thoughts, and drills instructors develop from observing students rotate from full swing principals, motion, and plane, to short-game technique and fundamentals. Instructors also implement the use of games, drills, and instructional aids, to teach and monitor each golfers progress.
